Does it work with Netflix and Disney+?▾
Yes. Everyone signs in to their own account; Cowa never hosts or re-streams any video — it only keeps your players in sync.
Is it free?▾
Yes — free for rooms of up to 6 people, and guests always join free. Premium ($9.99/mo) raises rooms to 25, adds democratic mode, custom themes and unlimited rooms (and removes ads).
Does everyone need their own account?▾
For streaming services, yes — that is what keeps Cowa private and legal. For YouTube and MP4 links, no account is needed.
Is my data private?▾
Cowa syncs playback and chat only. It does not touch or store your videos, and you can leave a room at any time.
